The January 18th meeting was incredibly successful. Roadtrip Bot is now able to follow a black line successfully as well as self-correct itself.

We got the electronics we will be using for the robot, and Jon is doing research on what is called 'The Brains'.
March 24th



Erin has got the sonar ground wire completely finished, and our design team has been hard at work developing the sensor housing units. Nathan has finished the acoustic housing unit.
April 7th


Micah has been working on the LiDAR sensor which will detect obstacles in the way of the boat. Erin has also been working on the sensor wiring setup to allow the rest of the team to add in the sensors.
April 19th


Jonah has been working on code to send data from the Jetson Nano to the Jaspberry Pi using Ethernet. The design team has finished building all of the Sonar sensors, and Erin has wired them all to the sensor wiring setup.
May 3rd



The design team has been working on cutting out all of the foam that will be used on the boat. In addition Erin has been hard at work with building the box that houses all of our electronics.
May 5th


The meeting today was incredibly successful. We got the sides of our foam boat pieces sanded down, and they are now ready to glued together and then shaped. Nathan has gotten the battery box mounted, and is preparing to drill the rest of the holes to hold everything in place.
May 6th


May 6th was a monumental day for progress. We got the battery box mounted as well as positioned the foam. We then began to glue the foam to their respective frames so we could prepare them for shaping. Our next goals are to shape the boat, and do some small scale testing to work out whatever issues the boat may have.
